Detailed Itinerary
Days 1–3: Mokolwane Camp – Xudum Concession, Okavango Delta
Your adventure begins as you board a scenic helicopter flight from Maun over the meandering channels and palm-studded islands of the Delta. Landing at Mokolwane, you’ll find yourself in a remote oasis where elephants roam freely and wildlife often grazes just below your elevated tent. Over the next three days, you’ll explore one of Botswana’s largest private concessions — an untouched 180,000-hectare wilderness.
You’ll enjoy:
- Morning and afternoon-into-evening game drives tracking predators and plains game
- Mokoro excursions (seasonal and water-level dependent)
- Birdwatching right from your shaded private deck
- Stargazing under some of Africa’s clearest skies
- Relaxing by the raised pool and soaking in Delta serenity
Days 4–6: Elephant Pan – Khwai Private Reserve
After breakfast on Day 4, you’ll take another helicopter transfer north to Elephant Pan, tucked in the heart of the Khwai Private Reserve. Your spacious canvas tent sits atop a wooden deck overlooking a lagoon, where elephants often come to drink — day or night.
At this intimate camp, you’ll spend your days on thrilling safaris in one of Botswana’s top game-viewing areas.
Your stay includes:
- Morning and afternoon game drives through predator-rich savannah and woodland
- A visit to the underground photographic hide for close-up wildlife shots
- Guided bush walks (seasonal and guide/weather dependent)
- Leisure time around the splash pool or shaded viewing deck
- The opportunity to pre-book a Skybeds sleepout for a night under the stars (April–October, at additional cost)
Day 7: Departure – Elephant Pan to Maun
On your final morning, enjoy breakfast and a morning activity (time-dependent), then board a shared light aircraft charter for your flight back to Maun, taking in one last aerial view of the Delta’s shimmering channels and woodlands.
