Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Maun – Fly to Kanana Camp
Upon arrival in Maun, you’ll be welcomed and assisted to your light aircraft transfer into the southern Okavango Delta. Land at Kanana Camp, a remote and intimate camp built along the Xudum River. Settle into your luxury tent and enjoy an afternoon safari activity, followed by dinner under the stars.
Days 2–3: Kanana Camp – Okavango Delta Wilderness & Sleep-Out Adventure
Spend your time at Kanana discovering the Okavango Delta’s wild charm. Activities include:
- Mokoro (dugout canoe) excursions through water channels (seasonal)
- Day and night game drives tracking elephant, antelope, and predators
- Motorboat safaris and seasonal heronry visits (when accessible)
- Guided nature walks
On the second night, choose to sleep out on the camp’s raised sleep-out deck, where you’ll fall asleep beneath a blanket of stars, surrounded by the sounds of the bush — a truly magical experience.
Day 4: Transfer to Shinde Camp
After a morning safari and breakfast, take a scenic flight to Shinde Camp, located on a lush palm island in the northeastern Delta. This area offers a stunning mix of waterways and dry savanna, ideal for both game drives and water-based exploration. After lunch and a rest, head out for an afternoon activity.
Days 5–6: Shinde Camp – Classic Okavango Delta Safari
Over two full days, experience a balance of land and water activities:
- Twice-daily game drives in custom safari vehicles
- Mokoro trips and boat cruises (water levels permitting)
- Guided bush walks with experienced trackers
- Excellent birdwatching and photography opportunities

Day 7: Transfer to Chobe Game Lodge – Luxury on the River

Day 8: Chobe Game Lodge – Morning Safari & Departure
